- Singular: This service helps us understand how the app is performing and which features users enjoy. It uses the anonymous device identifier mentioned above, but doesn't collect personal information about you.
- OneSignal: If you choose to receive push notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver them. This service only knows your device's anonymous identifier, not who you are.
Both of these services operate under strict privacy standards and don't have access to your personal information or the stories you create in the app.
Your Stories
The stories you create in CoolBot are stored locally on your device. We don't have access to them, and we don't transmit them to our servers or any third parties. Your creative work stays on your device, under your control.
If you delete the app, your stories are deleted along with it. We don't keep backups of your content on our servers.
AI Story Generation
When you use CoolBot to generate stories, your prompts are sent to an AI service to create the story content. This is necessary for the app to function. However:
- We don't store your prompts or the generated stories on our servers
- We don't use your prompts to train AI models
- We don't share your prompts with other users
- The AI service processes your request and returns the story, but doesn't retain your information
The AI generation happens in real-time, and once the story is delivered to your device, it's yours alone.
User Interactions
CoolBot is designed as a personal storytelling tool. Users don't interact with each other, and there's no social networking component. This means:
- You can't see other users' stories
- Other users can't see your stories
- We don't facilitate any data sharing between users
- There's no messaging, commenting, or social features
Your experience with CoolBot is completely private and personal.
